"infidel"
so i was in charlotte north carolina, on a connecting flight bound for cali. i walked into this "nascar" bar and grabbed a pint, yes the name of the bar was nascar. there was two guys in the army, the younger one must have been early 20's from texas, and the older one late 20's to early 30's from florida. i overheard there conversation regarding texas' tour to Afghanistan. it was quite disturbing. he spoke of shooting coyotes, mistreating the locals, and living in a constant state of fear, consciously knowing they are all intruders in another's land. before texas caught his flight, florida had a heart to heart, cleared up the tab for both and said "just hang in there man, stay strong, keep your head on a swivel". i felt a little empathetic, knowing what they are doing is wrong, this young man should not be subjected to such a harsh experience... no one should.
